Jetpack Joyride Android

One thing that everyone is looking forward to is the release of Jetpack Joyride for Android. Since it is still only available for the iOS, many Android users are waiting in anticipation for this product to be released in this type of format. There are high hopes that this will occur as the game’s developers have recently launched other games such as Temple Run that used to be exclusively for the iOS and now is able to run on Android gadgets.

There is one thing that might prove to be a problem, though. Since there are a lot of Android gadgets that have different specifications, being able to run it in all of them might be challenging. This means that there might be certain models that will not be able to run this game due to the size of the screen, aspect ratio and even the graphics the device contains. However, since there is no telling what will happen yet, the developers might be able to fix this minor setback.

If you aren’t familiar with the game yet, Jetpack Joyride is one of the most fun and thrilling games you can waste your time with. In it, you take the role of a disgruntled man named Barry Steakfries who for some reason was able to break into a laboratory and steal a high-tech Jetpack. Your mission, since you chose to accept it, is to navigate through the laboratory in order to escape with the Jetpack you so conveniently stole. Of course, it goes without saying that you will need to avoid a lot of obstacles such as missiles, lasers and even bolts of electricity. For the better part, you are able to collect coins throughout the game which gives you the option to upgrade clothes, vehicles and even certain boosts.

The controls for this game are very easy, which is most likely to be the same when it is finally released for Android users. You just point to the direction that you want to fly in and that is where the Jetpack will go, plain and simple. To ascend, just tap and hold the screen. If you want to descend, simply let it go. This game has a very simple interface that most players will find to be very easy to use. Although there is only one game mode and you have to restart once you die, this game is pure fun rolled up in one fantastic app.

Now since there isn’t a Jetpack Joyride Android version yet, you can always play games that are similar to it or ones that are clones of the predecessor. For instance, Run Run Bear is an app created for the Android market that is very similar to the game play of Jetpack Joyride. You will be able to use vehicles, get upgrades, grab coins and even play a slot machine for bonuses! While there is no replacing the original, Android users will have to use similar games until it does come out in the market soon.
